Absolutely True Tales of Lesbian Drama is a reboot of an old webcomic I did between 2002 and 2005 called AstroGirlX2. Actually, this new series is a reboot of a reboot. I foolishly tried to launch an earlier incarnation of Absolutely True Tales of Lesbian Drama while I was attending university. I had no time to draw and only managed to draw a handful of comics before the series folded. After graduating in 2009, I found myself unemployed with a lot of time on my hands. So at the beginning of 2010, I enthusiastically dived into relaunching a new series of Absolutely True Tales of Lesbian Drama after I had obtained the fantastic domain lesbiandrama.com. Both series focus on queer themes and take place in an alternate history, but I hope to take this reboot (of the reboot) to creative places I couldn’t have dreamed of when it was still AstroGirlX2.
